Stuffed Olives Recipe
The Stuffed Olives Recipe is easy to prepare. Stuffed Olives are called gefuellte Oliven in Germany.
- 113 g (4 oz) of cream cheese
- 1 stem of rosemary
- 2 cloves of garlic
Pick up a variety of olives in multiple colors (Kalimata, Nicoise, Liguria, Gaita, and Mission—just to name a few). Wash the herbs and remove the rosemary leaves from the stem.
Place all the ingredients—garlic, cream cheese, salt, rosemary, and chives—in a food chopper and puree until the consistency is even throughout. Use a decorating bag with a tip that has a hole and fill the center of the olives with the cream cheese/herb stuffing. The olives are a nice addition for your Oktoberfest party or at your 4th of July party.
Note: If you have some of the filling left, don’t worry. This mix also makes a delicious spread that best served with crackers.
