Hard Boiled Eggs Recipe – Eierpilz

The hard boiled eggs recipe in combination with tomatoes creates an eatable mushroom decoration.

Ingredients Recipe:

• 10 hard boiled eggs
• 10 small tomatoes
• Mayonnaise for decoration

Preparation:

Boil your eggs in a pot of water for about 10 minutes or use an electrical egg cooker. When the eggs are cooked, rinse them under cold water before shelling them. Cut the tomatoes in half and remove the middle section with a grapefruit spoon or grapefruit knife . Cut the bottom of the eggs evenly, creating a stable stand for the cut tomatoes to sit on upright. Set the tomato halves on top of the egg. Using a decorating bag filled with mayonnaise and a decorating tip with a hole you can create the dots on the mushroom top.

Note: You can cut some additional tomatoes and add them to the removed tomato cores to make a tomato salad.

You can serve the eggs at your Fourth of July barbecue in the backyard.
