German Hamburger Recipe

This German Hamburger Recipe is easy to prepare. Hamburgers are called Frikadellen in Germany.


  • 2 pounds of ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 diced onion
  • 4–5 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of horseradish
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper

Ingredients for German Hamburger Recipe

Preparation of Hamburgers:

Place the ground beef in a bowl. Add the diced onions, egg, mustard, horseradish, salt, pepper, and flour, and mix all the ingredients together. Form equal-sized balls with your hands and flatten into patties.

German Hamburger Recipe

Place the patties on the grill and cook them uncovered for about 6–8 minutes on each side over medium heat. The cooking time will depends on thickness of the Hamburgers and how well you like them done. Check them often while they are on the grill.  and enjoy. Hamburgers are done, enjoy!
