First Anniversary Oma Way

It’s hard to be believe but it’s true. August 19th, 2015, marks one year The Oma Way.com, first anniversary Oma Way. When I came up with the idea to create this website, I didn’t expect much. I thought maybe a few people out there might be interested in real German homemade cooking and baking. Perhaps someone could use a few gardening tips, or a couple of time-saving techniques when it comes to knitting. I wanted to pass along and keep alive some German holiday traditions and celebrations. And as a grandmother, even a few life lessons. I had no idea what was in store.

I’m amazed at how much TheOmaWay.com is appreciated and shared. The response to the knitting videos alone on YouTube.com was worth all the effort. And it’s motivated me to do even more. Thank you.

I appreciate everyone that has interacted and benefited from my site. I’m already working on new and exciting things to celebrate this amazing milestone. But I want to hear from you. What are you interested in? How can I help? Let’s make TheOmaWay.com the best it can be. Most importantly, let’s laugh, learn, and help others along the way.

It’s going to be a great second year. And from the bottom of my heart, I have you to thank.

Yours always,

Oma
