Grilled Chicken Drumsticks
Grilled chicken drumsticks are called gegrillte Huehnchenschenkel in Germany.
- 12 skinless chicken drumsticks
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of curry
- zest of one lemon
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 bottle of white wine
Wash chicken drumsticks under running cold water and dry with paper towel. Whisk wine with oil. Add lemon zest, curry, and salt to it. Place drumsticks in a dish and pour marinade over it, cover, and keep refrigerated overnight.
Grill the drumsticks on the barbeque for approximately 8–10 minutes on each side. Cook evenly on high heat and finish with the lid cover down. Control the temperature and smoke with opening and closing the vent/lid. Serve the grilled chicken drumsticks with a barbecue sauce you like.
